Experience
I have been applying makeup for 10 years, 6 of those professionally. I was a Sephora certified makeup advisor for 5 years, being trained by pros and various high end brands. During my time there I applied makeup on all skin tones, types, and textures. I have also worked with brands such as Make Up For Ever and Anastasia of Beverly Hills.
Education
I graduated from the Master Program at the Make Up For Ever Academy in NYC. During my time there I was trained in makeup for beauty and fashion, TV and film, and even body painting. All of my work was also professionally photographed, which allowed me to be educated in HD makeup application.
Makeup by mario
I had the honor of being accepted into the Makeup by Mario Mastercourse. Mario is one of the most iconic artists of our time, having done makeup for celebrities such as Kim Kardashian, Gabrielle Union, and Demi Lovato. The course consisted of a live demo from Mario, followed by being mentored by him one-on-one as I applied makeup to a model which was then professionally photographed. It was truly a once in a lifetime experience to be able to watch him work and be taught his tips and tricks.
Sanitation
It is especially crucial in today’s world that a makeup artist is educated in sanitation to ensure safety for not only themselves, but all of their clients. I have completed the Sanitation Standards training from Sanitation Conversation and am able to practice safe and sanitary makeup applications.
Insurance
I am insured through Hiscox Business Insurance with a General Liability Policy to ensure both me and my clients are always protected.
