Technically, I’ve been a professional makeup artist since 2014. But really, I’ve been doing makeup on all of my friends and family since I was 14. Now my business, Vanessa Rizzo Makeup Artistry LLC, offers on-site services such as makeup for special events, weddings, and photoshoots. I got hired to work at Sephora and that’s when my career really took off professionally. From being an employee there for 5 years, to the master program at Make Up For Ever Academy in NYC, to being trained and certified by celebrity artist Mario Dedivanovic (makeupbymario), I’m always striving to be one of the best in the industry. I’m always continuing my education to learn the latest techniques and trends. Makeup is not only my passion, but it’s given me such purpose. Helping all of my clients enhance their natural beauty and feel their best is so rewarding, and a lot of them I even have the pleasure of calling my friend. I’m so blessed to be able to share my love of art and makeup with such amazing people.
